Tipper Tie’s Econo Line clippers provide one step closing and clipping of bags for a variety of poultry products and other niche market packages.
Easily handling plastic bags, casing, or netting materials or pre-tied materials with a strong and secure closure, the Econo line models allow operators to use a single, smooth motion to securely seal product bags.
Whether vertically or horizontally mounted, the Econo Line models can do the following:
- Gather the neck of the bag
- Apply a secure seal
- Trim excess bag tail from the product (For processes that do not require trimming, no-knife models are available.)
A variety of options add value: attached product taggers (vertical models) to provide branding identification for retail customers, air filter regulators for less maintenance, and stick clip rail or spooled clip options to minimize reloads.
The robust, stainless steel and aluminum Econo Line clippers minimize cost while improving throughput. Their simple design and reliable performance are a perfect addition to your clipping operation.

Optional Taggers
Auto Tagger models add a tag or label into the clipping action, economically adding branding identification on products, without extra labor.
Tags are securely bound to the packaging by means of the clip, assuring a sturdy attachment that stays with the product all the way to the retail customer.
All Tagger models are vertical.
No Knife Clippers
For processes that do not require cutting or trimming of bags or netting, models without a knife are available for smooth, safe operation.
All No-Knife clippers are vertical. Right or left-handed models are available.
Vertical Clippers
Vertical models are available for left-handed or right-handed operation. Stainless steel/aluminum construction and simple design provide for quick cleaning and maintenance.
Clip sizes include Z95SP (spool), Z96SP (spool), 100T (spool/stick), 120T (spool/stick) and K100 (spool/stick). Stick clip configurations are optional.
Horizontal Clippers
All horizontal clippers are designed for left-handed operation. Stainless steel/aluminum construction and simple design provide for quick cleaning and maintenance.
A variety of clip sizes are available including Z95SP, Z96SP, and 100T spooled clips. Some clips are available with a knurl for added holding and gripping strength.
Premium Quality Clips
High-quality clips are essential to a successful clip closure.
TIPPER TIE clips are manufactured from a special aluminum alloy and are held to exacting specifications that exceed those from the general wire industry. The dimensions of all TIPPER TIE clips are kept within very tight tolerances, ensuring a perfect closure every time. Furthermore, clip leg ends are radiused and lubricated to ensure that both clip legs form simultaneously and uniformly as the clip gathers the packaging materials. The result is a clip that closes smoothly and securely every time.
